Chris Fasulo: Guitar & Audio
Learn the basics of recording, importing, and mixing audio. If you are an aspiring recording artist, musician, or songwriter, this may be the program for you! For over 30 years, Chris Fasulo has been a musician and working Producer, Engineer, Editor and Mixer for styles of music ranging from jazz, to classical, to punk, to pop, to metal. He has worked with jazz great Chico Hamilton, Paramore, and Cthonic. Mr. Fasulo is also an educator. Formerly a college Audio Department Chair and professor, Chris is now a teacher for the New York Department of Education.
Debi Toni: Theatre & Music
Come explore the world of music and theatre! Learn acting techniques, vocals, and more! Taught by award-winning local musician and live theatre director Debi Toni! Debi is a NYS certified teacher with a Masters degree in Music Education. Ms. Toni has several Off-Broadway credits and extensive experience in Regional Musical Theatre, on popular cruise ships and in NYC Cabaret.
Kristin Bestler: Zumba & Violin
Stay active this summer by attending our Zumba® class! Taught by Kristin Bestler, a Zumba® certified instructor who specializes in programs geared toward all age groups. Kristin is also a classical violinist with a Masters degree in Music, and will be teaching the violin class. She has worked in Student Support Services at the college, high school, and middle school levels for over 4 years. Kristin is working towards a second Master’s degree in Disability Services, and volunteers at Forgotten Friends Animal Shelter.
Jennifer Shea: Studio & Digital Art
Do you have a passion for art and would like to learn for the first time or enhance your talents? Join Jennifer Shea, A NYS Certified Art Teacher and adjunct professor, for the basics in Art Foundations, Drawing, Painting, Photography, Digital Design, Stop-Motion Animation and Art History. Ms. Shea holds an MFA in Photography and a BA in Theatre. She is also a professional photographer whose work has been displayed in Newsday, The LA Times, and SPIN magazine. Her artwork has been exhibited in New York, Milwaukee, and Italy. She was awarded 1st place in photography at the Nassau County Comptroller’s Office
Harry Yang: Mandarin & Chinese Culture
Explore traditional Chinese culture, the art of calligraphy, and the basics of Mandarin language with Ms. Harry Yang! Ms. Yang has a Masters degree in TESOL and Eastern Asian Studies. An active member of the NY Hanfu Corporation, she is a language teacher and singer. She participated in My Show in 2007 and American Idol in 2014. Harry enjoys Chinese traditional calligraphy and has conducted extensive research on Nvshu, ancient Chinese characters used only by females. She has been invited to present for the Traditional Calligraphy Association and Chinese Consulate in New York since the Chinese Traditional New Year in 2014. This year, she directed and presented a Hanfu playlet at the Pace University New Year Gala.

Intro to Instruments
Do you play an instrument or want to? Learn the basics or more advanced skills in piano, guitar, violin, and/or voice. Beginners are welcome! Taught by expert, certified musicians. Bring your own instrument.
Zumba®Zone
Stay active this summer by attending our Zumba®class! Taught by a Zumba® certified instructor who specializes in programs geared toward all age groups. Comfortable clothes and sneakers required.
Technique Tuesdays
Aspiring Artists
Do you have a passion for art and would like to learn for the first time or enhance your talents? Join us on Tuesdays for basic techniques in drawing, painting, photography, and even Claymation! Taught by an award-winning, certified instructor.
Audio Recording
Dabble in different music recording and transcribing software. Learn the basics of recording, importing, and mixing audio. If you are an aspiring recording artist, musician, or songwriter, this may be the program for you! Taught by a ProTools and Sibelius instructor.
Chess With A Champion
Learn the basic strategies and techniques needed to beat your opponent! Chess sets provided during class. Taught by chess club champion at Chess NYC.
Writers’ Wednesdays
Poets’ Place
If you write poetry or aspire to learn, come check our poetry program. You will learn the fundamentals of creative writing and poetry. Workshops and student feedback will be a major focus of the program. Bring your own notebooks and pens or tablets. Taught by a published author and English professor.
Screenwriters’ Society
Apply your love of story telling to screenplay writing. Learn the basic techniques of the screenwriting genre and develop your own ideas. Taught by a published author and English professor.
Theatre Thursdays
Introduction to Theatre
Come explore the world of theatre. Learn basic acting techniques, musical theatre concepts, and some drama history. Taught by an award-winning local musician and live theatre director.
Introduction to Dance
Learn basic dance techniques from different genres. Dance techniques will be applied to short choreographs. Comfortable clothes and shoes required. Taught by an experienced dance instructor for all ages.
Foreign Language Fridays
Mandarin
Come explore and learn the fundamentals of Mandarin language and Chinese culture and calligraphy. Learning a second language is not only exciting, but also beneficial. You are sure to have a unique experience. Materials provided. Taught by a native language speaker and experienced instructor.
